Techmation Electric & Controls is currently seeking a Receptionist for a project in the Fort St John area. Reporting to the Field Administrator, the receptionist will act as the first point of contact for the company, greeting all visitors in person and on the phone with a high level of professionalism. This is a Monday to Friday position based out of Fort St John.

 

 Responsibilities:

  • Answering and directing all phone calls in a polite and professional manner
  • Welcoming all visitors into the office and ensuring sign-in and sign-out has been completed
  • Organizing and managing the booking, activity and usage of meeting rooms
  • Issuing visitor access cards
  • Managing email to ensure requests are handled in a quick and efficient manner
  • Providing a high level of professional and extraordinary customer service to all visitors and employees, ensuring an excellent first impression
  • Coordinating Office setups and takedowns
  • Managing, creating, and improving efficiencies within the role
  • Ensuring cleanliness and organization of kitchens
  • Assisting with additional administrative duties as required

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a High school diploma
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or equivalent will be considered an asset
  • Previous experience in a reception role or similar capacity
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Possess a ‘service first’ attitude and genuine satisfaction in providing exceptional customer service
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to perform under a high degree of autonomy and independence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Valid class 5 (or equivalent) driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
